Your privacy at eval

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive the information described in the section below.
• Content you submit. The URLs, uploaded video files, transcripts, and content intent you provide for analysis, along with the analysis results we generate.
• Payment information. If you purchase a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited billing details and subscription status from Stripe.
• Usage information. Basic technical and usage data such as log data, device and browser information, and how you interact with the Service.
• Cookies and session data. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. See "Cookies and sessions" below.

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares a limited set of profile information with us, which typically includes your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information solely to create and authenticate your account and to communicate with you about the Service.

eval's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including generating and storing your analyses.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Process payments, manage subscriptions, and send related billing communications.
• Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
• Monitor, diagnose, and protect the integrity and security of the Service.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

To generate your Entertainment Value analysis, the content you submit (such as video frames, text, and transcripts) is sent to third-party AI providers for processing. These providers may include OpenAI, Google (Gemini), and Anthropic (Claude). Your content is sent only to perform the analysis you requested.

We also rely on trusted service providers to operate the Service, including Stripe for payments, Resend for transactional email, and our database and hosting providers. These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by their own obligations to protect it.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described in this policy: with the service providers above, when required by law or to respond to lawful requests, to protect the rights and safety of eval and its users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Content you explicitly choose to share (for example, via a shareable report link) may be accessible to anyone who has that link.

We retain your account information and analyses for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated content as described below.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also delete content from your dashboard at any time.

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in and to operate core features of the Service. Without it, you would not be able to stay logged in. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate.
